Aloha Hawaii

Updated: Jun 4, 2022

So Hawaii is in North America (sorry International wanderlust's you'll have to stay home for this one) but to me this feels like a secluded Island in America that feels like Fiji. I have never been to Fiji yet but if we in America had our version of paradise this would be it. Not only are the beaches breathtaking but the whole landscape the second you step off the plane seems unreal. I would have stayed in the airport. What I loved about Hawaii was that it felt home-like and thrived like a mini city all while the weather remained at 70 to 85 deg which is the kind of life situation that no one ever wants to leave. My first day out and about was dedicated to finding Manoa Falls which I found but let me warn you; this journey is not for the faint of heart. To the average runner or active walker you should be fine just remember to pack snacks and water and try to pee before you head on (it took me about 30-35 mins to get there and the same amount of time to get back but that is not including photo op stops). Once I arrived it was gorgeous but I wouldn't dare step foot in the water (they also have signs telling you not to do this anyway). Later that day I showered and made my way to my dinner cruise at Aloha Tower Marketplace where everything was very well organized and I got to see fireworks from the water and eat a fabulous meal with a delicious drink to compliment it. The day after that I headed to brunch at (Members Only Content Location) and had an incredible breakfast (see below) with an undeniable view; then lounged poolside at the Hilton Hawaiian Village Beach Resort where I swam to beat the heat and had a drink along the edge of the pool. By 2pm I was ready for some adventure so I took the Hollywood Movie set tour in Kaaawa and it was so fun (saw where they filmed Jurassic Park/World; Kong Skull Island; Jumanji- Welcome to the Jungle and other movies). My last night of my 4 day stay was dedicated to a delicious dinner at the (Members Only Content Location) which was amazing and attached to a nightclub that I could have went to but I was so burned out and exhausted that I had to skip it but make sure you check it out if you're in the area. Lastly the Waikiki Shopping Plaza during the day is booming and hits the spot if you are a fashion fend like myself and want to indulge.

General Consensus: Go to Hawaii, right now...any part...even the airport. Are you packed yet?
