Greece is one of the top most visited destinations in Europe and that wanderlust is 100% valid for what you get when you get there! I've been to Athens twice so let's start there; every part of this city in Greece feels ancient and like the Gods will be back for their land (I don't know what that means but once you're there and see the ruins and roam the city hopefully it makes sense). Athens feels like a small city and has tons of flair and young vibes which makes it a top contender for one of the best cities in Europe (the closest feel and rival would be Croatia in my opinion). The 2 biggest attractions here are the Acropolis and Parthenon and the best place to see the Acropolis from afar with food and drinks is (Members only content location) (loved this place). A great spot for drinks and to be in the scenery of Athens was the (Members only content location)(also an incredible place to stay if you can shell out the cash). Athens is reasonably priced compared to other parts of Europe but can definitely be more pricey than Mykonos or Santorini. Speaking of the playgrounds of Greece, let's get into it shall we? Santorini is where you go for the food, views and relaxation by the beach and Mykonos is where you go to party. I was able to take an awesome boat ride in Santorini but mine was cut short due to my sea sickness (we had a mini hotel on the boat so I was able to lay down). The best things to do in Santorini are boat rides, walk the town to see the beautifully colored buildings and have drinks or hookah on the rooftops. In Mykonos my favorite and by far the best thing to do here is the day drinks/beach lounging known as (Members only content location). We were to early for the party but at a certain hour this beach bar turns into an awesome time that you don't want to miss!
General Consensus: You have not vacationed unless you've been to Santorini or Mykonos. Athens was nice but you can skip the Greek Gods culture if you are trying to get straight to the party. A top "must visit" experience is the best way to describe the jewels of Europe...definitely on the South of France and Italian coast level if not exceeding.
