There was a place I believed was more magical than France and that my friends was Switzerland. It does border France so if you have the chance to visit Paris and Switzerland in the same trip that would be considered the dream Euro trip in my eyes. I rented a car because I wanted to see Zurich, Geneva, Bern and Lucerne but I was not able to get to Bern unfortunately. Zurich is the party town and the place that felt like a city (maybe comparable to downtown Chicago but not nearly as robust). I stayed at the beautiful (Members only content location) and it was the best little hotel I could have picked in the area, with friendly staff, delicious food and all the modern hotel upgrades a tourist could ask for lol (Netflix and a modern bathroom etc).Eating lunch in the garden courtyard was a very peaceful and pleasant experience as well as the pretty scenery. About 15 mins drive from my hotel was a really cool Hookah spot Dubai Hookah (kind of ironic right haha) that I'm sure would have been more lively if it weren't for me going on a random Monday night lol. The next day 15 mins drive from there was the (Members only content location) which was an oasis of beauty and top notch experience. The roof of this spa has a pool overlooking Zurich and this is a must have experience. Nothing however will compare to the city that was crowned my favorite in the world and the place where I want my ashes buried. 15-30 mins out of Zurich was the town of Lucerne and if we are talking a town straight out of a Disney Fairytale...that is Luzerne. I walked along the famous bridge there and listened to the water stream as well as visiting the famous Lion in the rock. Across the bridge a woman was preparing for a wedding that looked absolutely stunning with all the fresh flowers around the area that naturally inhabit this slice of heaven. I had lunch in Old Town including fondue and chocolate overlooking the water at a place called (Members only content location) which I highly recommend for this incredible experience. Take time to just walk the streets in this town and soak in how incredible it is...the photos below don't do it nearly enough justice. Lastly was my 3 hour drive to Geneva... I wanted to see what all the fuss was about. Luxury brand shopping is the ONLY reason to come here but even that won't disappoint as this is the NYC or Paris of Switzerland (that sounds bizarre) and there is no other service in the world that feels as intimidating as this lol. The Geneva Water Fountain also delivers in its awing beauty and magnificent showcasing of being the heart of this city.
General Consensus: There are 3 places in the world that I would die and be happy to live in; London, Singapore and Switzerland. It's all a personal preference on what you like but I chose this country/city over Paris, France because it has its own magic to provide and is nowhere near as saturated and over exposed. This is the place of dreams and if you're here you can easily visit Paris anyway so might as well kill 2 birds with 1 stone and make this a priority visit.
