The Seoul of Korea

Imagine New York/Chicago & Tokyo all fused into one city to form like a New-Cago Tokrea (wtf?) yeah that's South Korea. Home of the K-pop greats this city is full of delicious hibachi-style food, amazing pop music and infused with rich royal history. I am typically very cautious about the meats I consume in other/certain countries but the only way to eat most of the foods in this city is to see what happens.... (I know that's not encouraging). If you are use to having raw meats slapped on the table and told to cook it and enjoy, I mean what other choice do you have? You gotta eat right? I actually preferred this because I could cook it to the temperature of my liking and the add-ons were amazing. To be fair at the first Korean restaurant they prepared the food for us which was just as delicious. The celestial themed bar [Members Only Location] we went to was insanely cosmic looking and very classy, I loved it and the drinks were delicious. Being on top of one of if not the best mall in South Korea was "Not Strategically Done" but might have been strategically executed and was perfect. The [Members Only Location] is one of the most popular photographed locations in South Korea and I'm thrilled we were able to stop by and enjoy the beauty. Gangnam was just as trendy and robust as it's advertised everywhere and I loved all the little nuances that made it unique. Make sure you stop by the popular shopping area where all the best skin care products can be found and is the secret to all the amazing flawless faces you see on the women here. The Spa at the Inter-continental was very relaxing but the tea-time in the center of the hotel was among my favorites. Transportation here is best done through taxi's because the average Google Maps will not work here (be sure to download their version when you arrive). Incheon Airport is the further away airport and is a nightmare with traffic almost anytime of the day so if you can spring out the extra cash for Gimpo Int I suggest flying into that airport instead. Lastly the [Members Only Location] museum is one of the most popular and has some of the best culture and scenic beauty art-structured buildings in all of the city. Cannot Miss it!

General Consensus: Make a short stop here on your way to Tokyo or Hong-Kong or any major asian city. This is not as business feel as some of the other cities I've been to but this is definitely a fun and fantastic layover stop. Enjoy all the little streets and the big lights but also the beauty products and the awesome music.
